High performance beryllium oxide ceramic components from Brush Ceramic Products serve the medical, telecommunications, semiconductor, automotive, aerospace and defense industries. It is a subsidiary of Brush Wellman Inc. and operates from its principal manufacturing facility in Tucson, Arizona.

Brush Ceramic Products produces beryllia ceramic shapes by dry pressing powder (beryllium oxide) into molds, followed by hot sintering. The resulting ceramic forms may be shipped as is to customers or further machined to meet specific engineering design specifications. In many of its end uses, beryllia ceramics enable a lifesaving or life enhancing role.

Throughout the medical industry, Brush ceramic-based products are used in critical technologies including MRI machines, lasers for eye surgery and even portable defibrillators. In national defense and homeland security applications, ceramic products ensure critical wireless communications.
