Materials developed and manufactured by our companies provide the medical industry with increased reliability and durability in many types of equipment used for such fields as surgery/laparascopic/endoscopic devices, imaging, cardiology and diagnostic sensors.

Our companies, including Thin Film Technology, Brush Wellman Alloy Products, CERAC Incorporated, Technical Materials, Inc., Brush Ceramics, Brush Wellman Electrofusion and Williams Advanced Materials are dedicated to the advancement of technology within the medical industry and are continuously devel- oping stronger, better material for use in various specialties. As examples, within the field of imaging, our companies produce material used in X-ray, CT and MRI equip- ment and in cardiology specialties our companies produce material that is suitable for use in pacemakers and drug eluting stents.
